Groovy Movies
June 1st 2009 10:10
The internet is fast becoming a great source of all those kooky movies you used to stay up till 3.00 in the morning to watch, featuring saucermen, platinum blonde bombshells and abysmal acting. I thought I'd share a few of my favourite sites and big up all those who provide the content.
No. 1 on my hotlist is Groovy Movie Soundtracks, a regular blend of the best soundtracks from the movies, hosted by San Francisco based DJ, Ratso Russo. It's an absolute joy to listen to tracks from A Few Dollars More or Gator, the sequel to White Lightening. They're available to stream but better than that, you can download them too. They give me immense pleasure on the bus to work as I'm sure that nobody else will be listening to the soundtrack fromBunny O'Hare!
Another great site is the Internet Archive where you can find such titles as Attack of the Giant Leaches and Phantom From Space. But if you're looking for full length video then visit bmovies.com.
Check them out.
