Let Strategy Commence!

I've heard rumors that Battleship, the long running board game of mine and possibly your childhood, is being made into a Hollywood movie. Quite how this will look I'm not sure. Is it a live action version of the game, if so what makes it different to every other naval action movie out there?

Or is it about the Battleship World Championship. Now that I could dig; a Rocky for the geek community. What other movie/board game crossovers are to come? Connect Four? Mousetrap? Operation could take on an altogether more sinister tone.

Are there any other areas that are yet to be pillaged by Hollywood moguls? How about greetings cards? Merry Christmas: The moving story of a Robin who finds a home in the eves of a snow covered cottage.

Aah...

What about instruction manuals? KX19-C: The True Story of the inner workings of the most well known refridgerator. Watch and Learn..

Thanks for the Comment, Michael. Yes, Hollywood operates outside the laws of logic, but that's showbusiness I guess.
